Abstract:
An ultrasonic transducer and a method for manufacturing an ultrasonic transducer, belonging to the technical field of transducers. The ultrasonic transducer comprises a backing (1), an active element layer (2), matching layers (3) and a lens layer (4) which are sequentially stacked; there are n matching layers (3), the impedance values of different matching layers (3) are different, the impedance values of the matching layers (3) decrease layer by layer, and the impedance value of the active element layer (2) is greater than the impedance value of each matching layer (3), n being an integer greater than 1. The present invention can solve the problem that the existing ultrasonic transducer design solutions do not disclose the design method of matching layers (3); and provides a design solution of the matching layers (3) by which, when ultrasonic waves generated by the active element layer (2) are transmitted to an object to be detected by means of the matching layers (3) having a small acoustic impedance change, the sensitivity and bandwidth of the ultrasonic transducer are increased.
