Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an ultrasound converter for a high-intensity focused ultrasound generating device, which can minimize ultrasonic influences at areas other than a target area by focusing ultrasound waves on one point. To this end, the ultrasound converter for a high-intensity focused ultrasound generating device, according to the present invention, comprises: a concave-shaped piezoelectric element; a first electrode coated on the inner surface of the piezoelectric element; a second electrode coated on the outer surface of the piezoelectric element; and an intensity reduction unit for reducing the intensity of ultrasound waves generated from the center part of the piezoelectric element.
