Abstract:
An ultrasound transducer that comprises a circular piezoelectric ceramic on
which there is bonded a spherical lens made of metal materials or alloy materials
such as alumina or copper. The spherical lens is bonded with the piezoelectric
ceramic through a bonding layer. Because the spherical lens could make sound
wave emanative, and the ultrasound wave emitted from the piezoelectric ceramic
could be focused by controling a driving signal, an integrated ultrasound (phase-control)
focusing transducer could be made up of.
