Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to decrease cost and construction time, provide a measure for the stability of a shelter main body against a tsunami, ensure water pressure resistance performance against a tsunami caused by a Nankai Trough earthquake, ensure the safety which is necessary when using an evacuation shelter, ensure good habitability, and shorten evacuation time. A shelter main body 3 is connected to a concrete foundation 2, has a rectangular tubular steel plate 3a and a ceiling plate 3b made of a steel plate, and has a structure in which an internal space 9 is a prismatic structure. The shelter main body 3 has a partition wall 3c, and the outer surface of the shelter main body 3 has a waterproof paint finish. The partition wall 3c, since the lower end thereof is a free end, is structured so that a person can move between a first chamber 9a and a second chamber 9b via a connecting space 3d.
