A universal moving head-type cutting machine, comprising a rotary table (19). A disk-shaped work table (17) is placed in the rotary table, the rotary table is supported by means of an electromagnetic chuck (6), and the electromagnetic chuck is fixed on a machine box (1). A boss (20) is provided at a bottom part of the rotary table, and splines (7) are provided in the boss to connect the rotary table to a shaft (4). The shaft is sleeved on a base (2), and a speed reducer is connected at a shaft shoulder of a middle part of the shaft. The speed reducer is driven by a motor (22). The motor is placed above a control box (23). A left pillar (11) and a right pillar (16) are fixed at an upper surface of the rotary table, and upper parts thereof are connected by means of a baffle (15). A ball screw (13) is placed at an inner part of the baffle. A cutting device (14) is sleeved on the ball screw. The ball screw is driven by a pulley controlled by a drive device (9), and the device may flexibly switch the cutting direction on the basis of the present moving head-type cutting machine, which may thereby ensure that the cutting reference remains unchanged, and improve cutting accuracy and efficiency.
