Abstract:
The present invention relates to an unmanned mail receiving box and, more specifically, to an unmanned mail receiving box capable of accurately calculating the volume of mail such as a letter or a package and charging fees, and recognizing characters presented on mail by using a camera having one resolution. To this end, the unmanned mail receiving box of the present invention comprises: a frame member having a shape of a through hole of which the inside is empty; a mail shelf located at the lower end of the frame member and on which mail is placed; a driving motor located at the upper end of the frame member; a driving member moving upward and downward inside the frame member by the driving of the driving motor; and an encoder for calculating the movement distance of the driving member by using the number of rotations of the driving motor.
