Abstract:
Provided is a USB socket with which reliability can be readily improved. A USB socket (10) comprises: a connection part (2); a power supply circuit (11); a housing; and a determination unit (12). The connection part (2) enables electrical connection of a USB connector (91) of a device (9). The power supply circuit (11) supplies power from the connection part (2) to the device (9). The housing accommodates the power supply circuit (11). The determination unit (12) determines the degree of deterioration of a monitoring object. The monitoring object consists of at least one of the connection part (2), the power supply circuit (11), and the housing.
