Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of biomedicine, and provides the use of annexin A5 for the prevention and/or treatment of diseases or conditions, said diseases or conditions being selected from cerebral stroke, neurobehavioral defects, neurodegenerative diseases, nerve injury, hyperactivity of immune cells in the brain, blood-brain barrier damage, cerebral edema, increased calcium ion content, excitotoxicity, NOS over-activation, and diseases or conditions caused by at least one of the aforementioned diseases or conditions.
