Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of 9-deoxo-9-dihydro-9a-methyl-9a-aza-9a-homoerythromycin. A (generic name: azithromycin) for the therapy of neutrophil-dominated non-infective inflammatory diseases, pharmaceutical compositions containing azithromycin for enteral or parenteral administration and methods for the production of these pharmaceutical composiitons.
