Abstract:
A chitosan derivative that is modified by fluorination and that is used as a drug carrier, having the following structure: a fluorine-containing compound is covalently linked to a chitosan backbone, said chitosan has a molecular weight within a range of 5000-5000000, the fluorine-containing compound is a fluorine-containing aliphatic chain represented by chemical formula (I) below or is an aromatic ring functional group represented by formula (II), R1 is halogen (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine), halogen-substituted alkane, cycloalkane, an aldehyde group, a carboxyl group, a double bond, an alkyne bond, a hydroxyl group, sulfuryl chloride, a sulfonic acid bond, or a mercapto group, and said active groups can react with a primary amino group. Further provided is a novel drug carrier material having a significant effect of promoting drug absorption and having low toxicity. The described chitosan modified by a fluorine-containing compound features a mature synthesis process, simple operation, high synthesis efficiency and a short cycle. High-yield drug carriers can be obtained without tedious purification steps. The simple synthesis method therefor provides a good basis for the commercialization of said chitosan.
