A user terminal (20) receives control information indicating a single combination pattern among combination patterns that can be obtained from a plurality of parameters regarding disposition of a demodulation reference signal with respect to a wireless resource, and controls, by a combination pattern in which at least one of the parameters is set to a specific value, a reception process for a downlink signal transmitted from a wireless base station on the basis of the received control information and information indicating permission of frequency-multiplexing of a data signal and the demodulation reference signal.
