Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vacuum blender and, more particularly, to a vacuum blender which has an improved operation convenience, and which can perform various functions through a simplified operation method. In order to accomplish the above purpose, the present invention comprises: a body having a motor for providing driving power and a vacuum pump for suctioning air; a cooking vessel mounted on the body in an attachable/detachable manner, the cooking vessel comprising a processing member mounted on the lower interior thereof such that the same is coupled to the motor and can rotate, and the cooking vessel comprising a vessel cover hermetically mounted on an upper opening thereof, an exhaust opening being formed in one side of the vessel cover; a vacuum tube, one end of which is connected to the vacuum pump, and the other end of which is connected to the exhaust opening, thereby evacuating the interior of the cooking container; a single manipulation means provided on the body so as to operate the motor and the vacuum pump; and a vessel sensing means for sensing whether the body and the cooking vessel are coupled or not. When the vessel sensing means senses the cooking container, both the motor and the vacuum pump are operated by the manipulation means. When the cooking vessel is not sensed by the vessel sensing means, the vacuum pump is solely operated by the manipulation means. Accordingly, the operating function of the single manipulation means is switched according to whether the vessel sensing means makes a detection or not. The present invention, configured as above, is advantageous in that vacuum evacuation and blending functions can be manipulated by the single manipulation means, enabling the user to easily use various functions without detailed knowledge of the manipulation method. The present invention is also advantageous in that interaction between the constituent prevents the user from making erroneous operations in a forced and fundamental manner, thereby preventing device fracture and safety-related accidents.
