Abstract:
A valve operation and online water metering-based method for efficiently positioning a leakage in a water supply pipe network, which implements the efficient and accurate positioning of a leakage in a water supply pipe network DMA. The method is implemented in multiple stages so as to gradually reduce a leakage region. In each implementation stage, a DMA pipe network is first divided into two sub-regions by using an optimized valve operation strategy, and then the sub-regions that contain the leakage are identified by means of smart water meter-based online water balance analysis, thereby reducing the leakage region. In the described method, the optimal valve operation strategy is determined by means of establishing a minimized objective function and combining with a graph theory method, and the smallest leakage region is determined using the least number of valve operations. Compared to traditional methods such as artificial sound leakage, the method may significantly improve the efficiency of leakage positioning, ensure the accuracy of leakage positioning, and is easy to implement.
