Abstract:
Provided is a vapor chamber which has superior mechanical strength and is capable of preventing dry out at a heat receiving part even when thermally connected to a cooling target body having a large calorific value, and in which a liquid working fluid can return from a heat radiation part to a heat receiving part without difficulty. This vapor chamber is provided with: a container having a hollow cavity part and formed by stacking one plate member and another plate member facing the one plate member; a working fluid sealed in the cavity part; and a wick structure provided in the cavity part. The wick structure has: a first wick section which has a first wick member using a linear member and extending from the heat receiving part to the heat radiation part; and a second wick section which has a second wick member using a linear member and provided in the heat receiving part, wherein the linear member of the second wick member has a smaller average diameter than the linear member of the first wick member, or has a smaller mesh size than the first wick member.
