Abstract:
Disclosed is a variable-acceleration curved-surface spiral gear transmission mechanism for a variable-speed mass damping system. A concave curved-surface spiral gear (2) and a convex curved-surface spiral gear (7) are meshed at different radiuses through the movement of an orthogonal orbit planetary gear set (3) along a parallel arc line guide rail (11), such that continuous change of a gear ratio is realized, and the aim of changing the acceleration of an additional mass block is achieved. Spiral curve limiting guide grooves are provided in the surface of the concave curved-surface spiral gear (2) and the surface of the convex curved-surface spiral gear (7) in advance, the change speed of the gear ratio is adjusted by designing different spiral curves, and the acceleration change speed of the additional mass block (15) is controlled. By means of the mechanism, the acceleration of the additional mass block (15) is controlled by adjusting the gear ratio of a gearbox (14), when the seismic displacement of a main structure (13) is closer to a peak value, an inertia damping force provided by the mechanism is larger, when the main structure (13) vibrates at a small amplitude near a balance position, the gear ratio of the main structure is smaller, and the stroke of the additional mass block (15) is also smaller, and thus the service lives of members such as a spring and a viscous damper can be prolonged.
