Abstract:
The present invention makes attachment and detachment of a vehicle back door support device easy, while preventing unintentional removal. The vehicle back door support device is provided with a damper, a first connection part, and a second connection part. The first connection part includes an inside member, an outside member, and a spring. The inside member is fixed to one end of the damper, and has a connection hole for receiving a ball portion of a first ball stud. The outside member is reciprocally movable on the outside of the inside member. The spring pushes the outside member toward the +Z axis direction. The outside member has an outside member end surface and a cutout portion. When the outside member is at a first limit position of movement toward the +Z axis direction, the cutout portion of the outside member aligns with the connection hole of the inside member. When the outside member is at a second limit position of movement toward the -Z axis direction, the cutout portion of the outside member is located in the -Z axis direction relative to the connection hole of the inside member. The inside member has a mark that indicates the presence of the outside member at the first limit position.
