Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle body structure capable of improving a vibration damping effect by a damping material while suppressing an increase in an application amount of the damping material and a change in the shapes of components. In the vehicle body structure, a first bonding surface (9a) of a first vehicle body component (9) and a second bonding surface (7d) of a second vehicle body component (7) are bonded via a damping material (10) filled between the first bonding surface (9a) and the second bonding surface (7d). A longitudinal wall (30) extending in a direction toward the second bonding surface (7d) or a direction away from the second bonding surface (7d) is formed in the first bonding surface (9a) of the first vehicle body component (9). The damping material (10) is filled between the first bonding surface (9a) and the second bonding surface (7d) in a state of contact with the longitudinal wall (30).
