Abstract:
A vehicle control device (10) includes: an operation unit (12); an operation acceptance unit (13); and a control unit (14). When an occupant of a host vehicle is detected to be in an abnormal state, the operation unit (12) causes an abnormality control switch (41), which receives execution of safety control for improving safety of traveling of the host vehicle, to function in a mode where the occupant can identify the control content of the safety control. The control unit (14) executes the safety control when operation of the abnormality control switch (41) is accepted in the operation acceptance unit (13).
