Abstract:
A vehicle control system (2) comprises a detection unit (16) that detects an attack on an application (8), a vehicle state checking unit (18) that checks the state of a vehicle (4) when an attack is detected by the detection unit (16), an influence checking unit (22) that checks, on the basis of a check result from the vehicle state checking unit (18), influence on the vehicle (4) that would occur if the application (8) under attack is stopped from operating, a determination unit (24) that determines, on the basis of a check result from the influence checking unit (22), at least one of a method for responding to the attack and a method for restoring the application (8) under attack, and a control unit (28) that executes at least one of the determined response method and the restoration method.
