Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle display device enabling intuitive operation. This vehicle display device is provided with a panel portion 20 positioned on a front surface side of a display portion which displays information. The panel portion 20 includes a cover 21 and a sensor sheet 22. The cover 21 includes an operating portion with which a part of a user performing an input operation comes into contact. The sensor sheet 22 is provided along a rear surface of the cover 21 to detect that the part of the user has come into contact with the operating portion. The operating portion is a part having a three-dimensional shape formed in at least one of a front surface portion 211 and a side wall portion 212 of the cover 21. A first operating portion M1 formed in the side wall portion 212 and a second operating portion M2 formed in the front surface portion 211 are examples of the operating portion. Further, the sensor sheet 22 includes a first corresponding portion C1 having a shape corresponding to the first operating portion M1, and a second corresponding portion C2 having a shape corresponding to the second operating portion M2.
