This vehicle-door control device is provided with the following: an opening/closing drive device that actuates a vehicle door so as to open or close same; and a controller that controls the actuation of said opening/closing drive device. If it is detected that a foreign object is caught in the door when the door is being actuated so as to close and the door position at which it was detected that a foreign object is caught in the door is outside a specified range extending from the fully closed position to a specified position at which the door is not fully closed, the controller controls the actuation of the opening/closing drive device so as to reverse the direction of movement of the door, actuate the door so as to open same a prescribed reopening amount, and then stop the door. If the door position at which it was detected that a foreign object is caught in the door is within the abovementioned specified range, the controller controls the actuation of the opening/closing device so as to reverse the direction of movement of the door, actuate the door so as to open same at least the abovementioned reopening amount, and then stop the door outside the specified range.
