Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle door structure in which the outer peripheral parts of a tailgate skin (12) and a tailgate inner (13) are joined to each other to form a tailgate main body (11) with a closed cross section, wherein the vehicle door structure comprises the following: a tailgate hinge (30) that supports the tailgate main body (11) on a vehicle body; and a hinge reinforcing member (23) provided at a location (hinge attachment part (21)) of the tailgate main body (11) at which the tailgate hinge (30) is attached. At least some portions of the outer peripheral parts of the tailgate skin (12) and the tailgate inner (13) are separated from each via a gap (S1), and the hinge reinforcing member (23) has a closing part (25) that closes the gap (S1).
