Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle drive device control device which can suppress degradation of an initial response while mitigating two-stage acceleration shock upon a power on/down shift. When a power down shift is performed, input torque limit control means (94) executes an input torque limit control to limit an AT input torque TATIN at the stage before the down shift starts an inertia phase as compared to the case when the down shift is not performed. Furthermore, the input torque limit control means (94) performs the input torque limit control as follows. When an accelerator pedal (46) is pressed with a delay, the AT input torque TATIN before the inertia phase start is limited to the AT input torque TATIN at the transmission output. On the other hand, when the accelerator pedal (46) is pressed at an early stage, the AT input torque TATIN before the inertia phase start is limited to be not greater than the input torque limit value LTIN which is greater than the AT input torque TATIN upon the transmission output.
