Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle electricity storage device having a high productivity while ensuring reliability and safety. The vehicle electricity storage device is provided with: a capacitor unit capable of supplying stored power to an electronic control brake system; a memory in which a plurality of different threshold values (internal resistance limit values) are stored in association with an identification ID, said threshold values being compared with an electrical characteristic value (internal resistance value) of the capacitor unit to determine the degraded state of the capacitor unit, said identification ID being specific information for specifying the electronic control brake system to which each of the threshold values is fitted; and a microcomputer. The microcomputer obtains the identification ID from the electronic control brake system, selects the threshold value associated with the obtained identification ID from among the plurality of different threshold values, and determines the degraded state of the capacitor unit using the electrical characteristic value and the selected threshold value.
