Abstract:
A vehicle headlight (1) comprising: a first lamp unit (10) having a light distribution pattern forming part (12) in which a plurality of light-emitting elements (13) capable of individually changing the amount of emitted light are arranged in a matrix and which forms a prescribed light distribution pattern (P1) in accordance with the amount of light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements (13); and a second lamp unit (20) that emits light having a prescribed light distribution pattern (P2), wherein a low-beam light distribution pattern (PL) is formed by the light emitted from the first lamp unit (10) and the light emitted from the second lamp unit (20) and, in the low-beam light distribution pattern (PL), a prescribed region (CA) formed by light including the light from the first lamp unit (10) includes an elbow point (EP), and a first lateral region (SA1) and a second lateral region (SA2) flanking the prescribed region (CA) in the left-right direction are formed by the light emitted from the second lamp unit (20).
