Abstract:
Provided is a production method in which a vehicle interior trim having good cushioning properties is produced using an integrated molding method. The production method is for a vehicle interior trim (1) that comprises a resin substrate (2) and a skin member (3) that is bonded to the resin substrate (2), and said production method is configured so as to comprise: an arranging step in which the skin member (3) is arranged in a mold (4), said skin member (3) comprising a slab foam layer (31a) and a protective layer (32) that is layered on the back surface of the slab foam layer (31a); a molding step in which a molten resin (20) is injected into a cavity (440) on the protective layer (32) side of the skin member (3) and the resin substrate (2) is molded at a high temperature while under pressure; a removal step in which, after cooling, a molded article (10) comprising the integrated skin member (3) and resin substrate (2) is removed from the mold (4); and a restoring step in which the slab foam layer (31b) of the molded article (10) is heated in order to restore the shape of the slab foam layer (31b).
