Abstract:
A vehicle lock device comprising: a lock member configured so as to be capable of holding a sliding door in a fully open position; and a plate-shaped section configured so as to come in contact with a fixed surface set in a support arm. The vehicle lock device is configured such that the plate-shaped section is held at a position on the rear side of the support arm surface that faces the door opening section, as a result of the plate-shaped section being interposed between the fixed surface and a holding section forming a prescribed gap between same and the fixed surface.
