Abstract:
A vehicle pillar constituting member (12) has a longitudinal shape and is formed by welding a plurality of steel sheets (120A-E) at at least one of joining lines (110a-d) traversing the longitudinal direction, wherein the steel sheets above and below each of the joining lines have different strength. At least one of the joining lines includes one or more first joining lines (110a, 110c) that are inclined with respect to a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle pillar constituting member (12).
