Abstract:

This invention relates to a vehicle with a mixed gas generating system, and a vehicle with a fuel producing system. The purpose of the invention is to provide a vehicle with a mixed gas generating system and a vehicle with a fuel producing system that supply H2 and CO generated by electrolysis, and fuel obtained by synthesizing the H2 and CO, to an internal combustion engine. A vehicle (10) includes an engine (12), an H2&CO tank (16), a CO2 collector (18), an electrolyte tank (20), an electrolyzer (22), and a water tank (24). During operation of the engine (12), exhaust gas is introduced to an absorbing solution inside the CO2 collector (18), and CO2 recovered from the exhaust gas is collected and stored in the electrolyte tank (20). Electricity is supplied to the electrolyzer (22) while the absorbing liquid that absorbed CO2 and water are supplied from the electrolyte tank (20) and the water tank (24), respectively. A mixed gas comprising CO and H2 is thus generated from the CO2 and water. The mixed gas generated is temporarily stored inside the H2&CO tank (16), and supplied to the engine (12).
