Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular display device capable of starting a display of an image more quickly during startup. The vehicular display device (10) comprises: a display device (20) that displays an image; a storage unit (14) that stores image data pertaining to the image; and a control unit (11) that displays an image in the display device (20) on the basis of the image data stored in the storage unit (14). When an ignition signal (IGN) has been switched off, the control unit (11) sleeps after storing or holding, in the storage unit (14), work data indicating a work state of the control unit (11); and when the ignition signal (IGN) has been switched on, the control unit (11) wakes up from the sleep state and then resumes displaying an image on the basis of the work data stored or held in the storage unit (14).
