Abstract:
The present invention relates to a head support device and, more particularly, to a vehicular head support device wherein a headset is conveniently installed on the headrest of the driving seat, on which the driver's neck part is positioned, so as to protrude in a curved shape according to the curvature of the driver's body such that, even during a long period of driving, the driver can comfortably rest his/her neck and can maintain the right posture; the driver's current heartbeat information measured by a heartbeat sensor is compared with predetermined dozing heartbeat information so as to monitor whether the driver falls asleep or not such that, before the driver is already asleep and closes eyes, before his/her foot is moved away from the acceleration pedal, before the driver nods off, or before the steering wheel is moved unintentionally, the fact that the driver is falling asleep is confirmed in advance; and a sound signal or a voice signal based on a compulsory speech can be output through a bone conduction earphone provided on the headset such that the driver can be prevented from falling asleep even momentarily during driving.
