Abstract:
A head lamp is provided with a lighting control unit (52) for controlling the emission timing of light to be emitted from a light source (31), and a rotational scanning unit (32) for repetitively scanning the light from the light source while rotating, and illuminates a required area with the scanned light. The rotational scanning unit performs a plurality of repetitive scans during one rotation. The lighting control unit is provided with a period detection unit (524) for detecting the rotation period of the rotational scanning unit, and a period dividing unit (525) for equally dividing the rotation period and controlling the emission timing of the light source. The lighting control unit controls the emission timing of the light source on the basis of the rotation period and the divided period.
