Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicular light guiding body and a vehicular lamp unit that are capable of delicate light distribution control. A vehicular light guiding body 20 is provided with: an incidence surface 21 on which light from a light source 10 is incident; a first reflection surface 22 which internally reflects the light incident from the incidence surface 21 and converts the light into approximately parallel light; a second reflection surface 23 which has a shape based on a revolution paraboloid PR that reflects the approximately parallel light from the first reflection surface 22 toward a focus point P; a light blocking part 24 which blocks part of light reflected by the second reflection surface 23; and an emission surface 25 which emits light internally reflected by the second reflection surface 23 and passing through the light blocking part 24 and projects a headlight pattern toward the front of a vehicle.
