Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular windowpane with a metal terminal with which it is possible to suppress the occurrence of cracking in a shielding layer disposed on a main surface of a glass plate or in an electrical conductor disposed on the shielding layer, and to suppress peeling of the surface of the glass plate below the shielding layer, even after several days have elapsed since the electrical conductor, disposed on the shielding layer disposed on the main surface of the glass plate, and the metal terminal have been connected to one another using lead-free solder. This vehicular windowpane with a metal terminal is provided with a glass plate, a shielding layer disposed on at least one main surface of the glass plate, an electrical conductor disposed on the shielding layer, said metal terminal, electrically connected to the electrical conductor by means of lead-free solder, and a conducting wire fixed to the metal terminal, wherein: the metal terminal is provided with a pedestal connected to a terminal connecting portion by means of lead-free solder; the electrical conductor is provided with said terminal connecting portion, which is connected to the pedestal by means of lead-free solder, and a linking portion which is linked to the terminal portion and which has a width that is less than the width of the terminal connecting portion in a longitudinal direction or a lateral direction; and in a plan view, the terminal connecting portion and the linking portion are linked over 30% or less of the perimeter of the terminal connecting portion, and an edge portion of the terminal connecting portion is positioned not more than 3 mm from a pedestal edge portion constituting the pedestal, in a direction moving away from the pedestal.
