Abstract:
Provided is a ventilation system with which it is possible to reduce the amount of insects remaining within an air supply path. The ventilation system 1000 according to the present disclosure comprises: an air supply path 10 through which passes a supply airflow A from the outdoors toward the indoors, the air supply path 10 being formed in a casing 1; an air-supplying blower 7 that generates the supply airflow A; a light source 300 that is provided further toward the outdoors than is the air supply path 10 and that attracts insects within the air supply path 10; and a control unit 27 that executes an insect discharge operation in which the light source 300 is lit to attract the insects within the air supply path 10 to the light source 300, and in which the air-supplying blower 7 is operated in reverse to generate an airflow C from the indoors toward the outdoors.
