Abstract:
This vertical articulated robot (100) comprises: a first joint shaft (60) including a first motor (61) that drive-rotates a tool flange (6); and a second joint shaft (50) including a second motor (51) that drive-rotates the first joint shaft. The first motor has a section (61c) that overlaps a direction that is orthogonal to both the extension direction of a first rotational axis and the extension direction of a second rotational axis of the second motor.
