Abstract:
This vertical articulated robot (100) is equipped with a plurality of joint axis portions (10 to 60) that rotationally drive a plurality of arm portions. The plurality of joint axis portions include narrow joint axis portions (20, 30, 50). In each of the narrow joint axis portions, at least a part of a brake (23, 33, 53), and/or an oil seal (24, 34, 54) is disposed inside a recess (22e, 32e, 52e).
