Abstract:
The present invention provides a vertical type apparatus for firing a cathode material of a secondary battery. The vertical type apparatus for firing a cathode material according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of saggars having an open top, provided with a through slit for gas flow on the bottom surface, and loaded with a cathode material; and a plurality of unit firing furnaces having an open top, stacked in plurality in the vertical direction, and having each saggar stored individually therein.
