Provided is a vibration-damping device having a novel structure, the vibration-damping device being configured so that the durability performance and load-bearing performance of a stopper mechanism are ensured and so that a first mounting member can be formed by a simple structure using a press-formed metallic plate member. A vibration-damping device (10) has a first mounting member (12) provided with a body portion (26) secured to the body rubber elastic body (16) and with a cylindrical, bracket press-fitting section (24). The first mounting member (12), which comprises the body portion (26) and the bracket press-fitting section (24), is formed in an integrated manner using a press-formed metallic plate member. Both end portions of the press-formed metallic plate member are circumferentially abutted against each other at the bracket press-fitting section (24) and welded together. Shock-absorbing rubber (54, 56, 58) is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the bracket press-fitting section (24) at positions located circumferentially off the weld bead (74) formed by the welding. A stopper section is configured by the shock-absorbing rubber (54, 56, 58) and by peripheral wall portions (28, 32, 34) located off the weld bead (74) on the bracket press-fitting section (24).
