Abstract:
This vibration-damping device is provided with: a first attachment member to be attached to either one of a vibration generator or a vibration receptor; a second attachment member to be attached to the other of the vibration generator or vibration receptor; an elastic member that is provided to the second attachment member and elastically connects the first attachment member and the second attachment member; a protrusion which protrudes toward the first attachment member with respect to an external surface of said elastic member opposite to the first attachment member; and a recess that is provided in a recessed manner at a site of the external surface located on a base end side of the protrusion, that forms an extension of the protrusion in a lateral wall portion, and that forms an opposing surface opposite to said extension.
