Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vibration damping system and a method for estimating the cutting force of a machine tool using same. According to the present invention, the vibration damping system comprises: a housing; a stator disposed so as to be capable of being rotated an arbitrary angle inside an inner space of the housing; a rotor which is disposed in a space inside the stator and rotates about a rotation center axis; a spindle that rotates together with the rotor; a first tensioner which applies a tensile force pulling the stator when the stator rotates; a second tensioner which applies a tensile force in the opposite direction of the tensile force of the first tensioner; a first compressor which applies a repulsive force pushing the stator; and a second compressor. Therefore, the present invention can improve the machining quality and accuracy of a workpiece by suppressing the occurrence of vibration in a machine tool.
