Abstract:
This vibration prediction method for a rolling mill predicts vibration of a rolling mill in a rolling process for rolling a metal strip by means of the rolling mill using a rolling roll polished by a roll polisher, and involves a step for predicting vibration of the rolling mill by using a rolling mill vibration prediction model which has been trained with machine learning and which, as input data, includes one or more parameters selected from polishing operation parameters of the roll polisher and one or more parameters selected from rolling operation parameters of the rolling mill, and has, as output data, vibration information about the rolling mill in the rolling process.
