Abstract:
Provided is a vibration reduction device whereby torsional vibration in a dynamic vibration absorber can be effectively absorbed and the degree of freedom of configuration of the dynamic vibration absorber can be improved. The vibration reduction device (1) comprises a housing (2), an output hub (3), a main damper device (4), a dynamic damper device (5), and a clutch unit (8). The output hub (3) is arranged so as to be rotatable relative to the housing (2). The main damper device (4) is arranged between the housing (2) and the output hub (3) and dampens the torsional vibration input to the housing (2). The dynamic damper device (5) absorbs torsional vibration output from the main damper device (4). The clutch unit (8) is arranged between the housing (2) and the main damper device (4). The clutch unit (8) is configured so as to be capable of coupling the housing (2) and the main damper device (4) and releasing the coupling between the housing (2) and the main damper device (4).
