Abstract:
The present invention provides a vibration-type drive apparatus for solving the problem addressed thereby, the vibration-type drive apparatus being characterized by comprising: a control unit for outputting a command signal; a drive unit for outputting a drive signal on the basis of the command signal; a vibrating body unit in which two or more vibrating bodies that vibrate on the basis of the drive signal are provided in a row; a drive signal analysis means for analyzing the drive signal and outputting a result of the analysis; and a determination means for determining the presence or absence of a wire break in wirings coupled to the vibrating bodies on the basis of the result of the analysis.
