Abstract:
Provided is a vibration waveform sensor that is highly sensitive and that uses a piezoelectric element, wherein generation of hum noise is inhibited without being short circuited and reliability is improved by disposing on a substrate (20) a pair of conductive pads (22, 23) and a piezoelectric element (30) having terminal electrodes connected to said conductive pads and further by encircling the conductive pads and the piezoelectric element with a ring-shaped conductive spacer (40). On the inner side of the spacer (40), a substantially disk-shaped cover part (44) is provided so as to cover the pair of conductive pads (22, 23) and the piezoelectric element (30). The spacer (40) has a substantially H-shaped cross-section in a direction orthogonal to the substrate (20). Silicone resin (46) is filled in the inner side of the spacer (40), as necessary. Hum noise is reduced since a continuous surface of the cover part (44) blocks the hum noise coming from the top surface of the piezoelectric element (30). A conductive film (24) is provided in the area on the substrate (20) except for the area encircled by the spacer (40).
