Abstract:
Provided are a video data display apparatus and a display method therefor. The video data display apparatus comprises several display drive circuits and a video data processor used for receiving video data. Each display drive circuit converts the video data to form sub-video data, so as to drive several display panels. A data converter performs at least one of the following three types of processing on the video data: replacing data of the video data, generating blank gap information that is different from the video data, and generating new blank gap information and inserting same into the video data. Therefore, several display panels can be driven to display different pictures by means of matching a group of video data with a data processor, and preprocessing, for example, by means of resolution adjustment, does not need to be performed on a display signal, such that the overall cost of a display system can be effectively reduced.
