Abstract:
This video display device comprises: a display; an exercise amount detection sensor which detects the exercise amount of a viewer while the viewer views content displayed on the display, and outputs sensor information; a timer which measures the viewing time of the content; and a processor. The processor: acquires the viewing time from the timer; calculates the exercise amount of the viewer on the basis of the sensor information acquired within the viewing time of a predetermined length; compares the exercise amount with an exercise promotion threshold for determining whether to promote exercise for the viewer; and displays a specific object in the display area of the display when the exercise amount falls below the exercise promotion threshold. The display position of the specific object is defined in a coordinate system in which a two-dimensional coordinate system indicating the position of a pixel in the display area of the display and an external coordinate system indicating the position in real space are associated with each other, and the processor causes the display position of the specific object to move from the inside to the outside of the display area in accordance with the external coordinate system.
