Abstract:
A viewing angle expansion film for expanding the viewing angle, wherein the viewing angle expansion film is equipped with a plurality of hole-containing parts, the hole-containing parts contain holes, and the depth of the hole-containing parts is from 0.5 μm to 2.0 μm; a polarizing plate equipped with the viewing angle expansion film and a polarizer; a liquid crystal display device equipped with the polarizing plate; and a method for producing a viewing angle expansion film that includes a step 1 for preparing a hole-containing material film having hole-containing parts and a step 2 for stretching the hole-containing material film and changing the shape of the holes in the hole-containing parts of the hole-containing material film.
