Abstract:
This viewing assistance system comprises a display unit, a captured image generation unit, a speech recognition unit, and an association conservation unit. The display unit includes a display screen on which content having a plurality of pages can be displayed. The captured image generation unit generates a captured image of the content displayed on the display screen. The speech recognition unit recognizes speech included in the content. The association conservation unit conserves the speech recognition result, which is a result obtained by recognizing the speech included in the content by means of the speech recognition unit, in association with the captured image generated by the captured image generation unit.
