Abstract:
The present invention provides a virtual keyboard for inputting Chinese characters, a configuration method and an input method therefor, and a Chinese character input system. The configuration method comprises the following steps: configuring a geometric layout of the virtual keyboard; and using a cost function-based search algorithm, configuring available keys of the virtual keyboard respectively with initials and finals, so as to obtain an optimal layout of initials keys and finals keys, the initials keys and the finals keys in the optimal layout being configured on the basis of a minimum cost function value for spelling all Chinese syllables, the minimum cost function value being the minimal sum of the weighted distances of the initials keys and the finals keys in all Chinese syllables. When said method is used to acquire a virtual keyboard to input Chinese characters, the number of inputs is reduced, and the moving distance is shortened, thereby greatly improving the spelling efficiency of the Chinese characters and the usability of the virtual keyboard.
